Comments
Comments: Interesting weather day with peaks in the clear but overcast above and undercast below. Microspikes on a snow sidewalk to Eisenhower. The traverse on Edmands Path was tricky with a crusty sidehill that was manageable with microspikes. I think this traverse might be challenging with snowshoes. However, from there down to the wet area near the bottom, snowshoes were great. Below that, too bony for snowshoes. The trail hasn’t seen much use. The road has been recently driven by someone (gate is closed) and the snow is shallow so it was a quick walk back to the parking area.
