Comments
Comments: Started at 7 AM and we’re back to the car at 4 PM. We wore snow shoes 100% of the day. It made all the difference. The trail was broken out and packed as well as it could be. The cold temps kept the new snow fluffy so without snowshoes it would have felt like walking in sand. Signal Ridge was hard packed but very windy today. Passed about 12 other hikers, half of which were in snow shoes. Long 14 miles but the trail is in great shape.
