| Comments: |
I decided to bail at the Lakes of the Clouds. Too windy. 60 mph at the summit of Washington, with gusts over 70 mph. Just not fun.
Ammonoosuc Ravine trail is in decent shape. I used snowshoes for the ascent, trail crampons for the descent. Full crampons not unreasonable. Micro spikes really are not sufficient traction.
Lots of people heading up on my way back down. |
