Ski area was PACKED today but there was still ample parking. They put us in the back lot which actually made the hike to the trail a very short (50') bushwhack onto Maple Ski Tr. |

All crossings were running well but are small and easy to rock hop. |

A few blowdowns on Overlook. |

Saw some on Ridge Tr but this whole hike would have been great for dogs. |

Could have maybe barebooted XC ski trails and Overlook but Microspikes worked perfectly and helped with the slippery leaves that were out in some spots.You would want them for Saddle and Ridge Trails as there was less snow and more ice. Streams were all running and in some places on the trail but overall great conditions.Saw no others until we hit Saddle Tr. New trail for us as we took the Ridge Trail Road Bypass down to the lodge. |
