Comments
Comments: Blueberry Ledge from 3500 up to McCrillis Path junction is challenging and really requires Trail Crampons or better. The ledges are icy and covered by powder so you need a crampon that is long enough to bite the ice. I'd brought full crampons, but didn't need them with careful foot placement. The Rollins Trail has about 1-2 inches of powder over ice. Dicey's Mill above the Rollin junction was surprisingly packed down from a lot of micro and snowshoe traffic. This will all change with today's snow and tomorrow's rain.
