Comments
Comments: 6:30 am start, temp about 25, ground was frozen with about an inch of snow at trailhead. Light breeze above treeline on Guyot, Bond and West Bond. Saw 6 hikers headed to Guyot Campsite and 2 day hikers. About a dozen staying at the hut. Trails had about 2 inches of snow at higher elevations. Afternoon temps above freezing so broke through ice on mud holes. Some sun in the morning and overcast in the afternoon. Finished hike with headlamp for last mile of Zealand Trail.

Wore stabilicers from hut to Bond and back to hut. for better traction on the snow and ice covered rocks. Great day today.
