I won’t bother going into detail since the current and predicted weather will change it all. I did not use snow shoes they were not necessary, exposed rock and roots. Ladders were half covered half not which made for a rather sketchy descent. Trail gets choppy above the ladders to the intersection with Franconia Ridge Trail. Lots of hidden post holes. Met two women as they were passing me with their pup, coming down from an extended pemi loop… was told conditions on the trail were not the best. |
