It was an amazing bluebird day to reach 50% of the grid on south twin. Down low theres trace amounts of snow and even some patches of bare trail. Up higher its all packed trail with a dusting of powder on top. Theres thick ice under the powder in spots. Microspikes were fine all day. Snowshoes aren't needed unless the trail softens [not!]. There are postholes everywhere. |
