Comments
Comments: There are plenty of reports about these peaks that are entirely accurate. I'll just let you know that the section of FRT between Little Haystack and Liberty Spring Trail is deeply postholed (about 12-18" deep) and frozen solid with a couple of inches of powder on it - just enough to distort where the postholes are. I had a hiking partner who lead most of the way (which made it easy for me, but not for him). Still, it wasn't entirely terrible to cross, just annoying and slow.
