Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Trailhead parking was plowed. The York Pond Fishery gate was unlocked when we left at 7:00 p.m.

Surface Conditions: Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Many unbridged crossings on Unknown Pond trail, and one substantial one on Bunnell Notch trail, but all crossable with care and sometimes getting boots a couple inches underwater. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Quite a few blowdowns along the route, nothing difficult to pass.

Dog-Related Notes: Saw some happy dogs descending the spur trail to the Horn.

Comments: Could have done the whole loop in microspikes, although there were parts where snowshoes were easier.
