Comments
Comments: The cold did a nice job of shoring up the trail. Bare-booted to the Sandwich Wilderness sign, still lots of exposed rocks in places, then spikes all the way to Middle and back to North. Put on Hillsounds to descend and I was glad I did - that steep stretch was icy crust covered in a light layer of fresh powder and slippery. Some drifting just past Sabbaday Trail juncture going up Middle, but it wasn't deep. Not worth the shoes for such a short stretch. Sabbaday did not look hiked recently, and very post-holey. Gridded out the Tri's - onward and upward.
