Comments
Comments: What an amazing day for these incredible mountains! Very cold in the lot, hardest part is just getting out of the car! No wind once on trail, wore Hillsound spikes all day, snow shoes stayed behind. Never needed them. Trails packed but still many rocky areas. Falls were running fast, so beautiful! Electric Blue Skies today! Ducked behind Haystack to gear up, views were epic! No wind on hike to Lincoln, incredible to be here in these conditions. Winds higher than forecast on way to Lafayette. Many folks out all with an amazing smile enjoying the amazing day! Too cold/windy too enjoy Lafayette. Quick down to hut. Very quick to lot. Just a special day on these peaks. I love & respect all of these mountains, but these 2 honestly scare me I All seasons. Truly thankful for a Bluebird day! Paused to offer my thoughts to the 2 who perished on these trails recently.
