A mixed bag today but overall conditions have improved significantly over the four days. Start king was nicely packed to waumbeck and despite some ice under the new snow (2”), we were able to bare boot. Snowshoes went on for the duration as they were the most efficient method of travel today. Spikes would have been adequate from the jct of bunnell notch & KRT but not my idea of a good time. Snowshoes for the win again. |
