| Comments: |
If you enjoy spring-like conditions, you won’t be disappointed. Down low, the trail had packed snow and patches of mud and wet leaves. Rocks and roots are still exposed in some capacity for most of the way to the summit.
Once you make the turn past the viewpoint on the ski trail, the snow starts to fill on the trail in a bit more, but rocks are still very much exposed. We put spikes on just before the larger water crossing by the ski trail viewpoint and left them on until we got back to the car (just because we were too lazy to take them off).
Snowshoes went for a ride today and definitely were not needed. |
