Comments
Comments: First to summit on an overcast day, wanted to hike down falling waters, but once I was above treeline the winds were 50+ mph, conditions not too bad for a human in gortex...bad for a dog with short hair. Was able to summit w/o micro spikes, coming down from the peak I did put spikes on as there is ice covered by light snow. I think winter has arrived on the taller peaks in the whites. I suspect if tonight goes below freezing there will be lots of ice on Sat. as the trail is wet.
