Comments
Comments: A few inches of new snow today. We used rock spikes down low, switched to Hillsounds on Fishin’ Jimmy; and then used snowshoes on the ridge. By the way out, there had been enough traffic that snowshoes wouldn’t be necessary tomorrow unless they get more snow tonight. There is a substantial amount of floe ice under the snow on KRT and Fishin’ Jimmy…so if you have crampons, you might want those rather than microspikes. Completely packed down from the hut to the parking lot in the afternoon.
