| Comments: |
Like most trails there was just about every condition imaginable. Down low it was patches of ice with mud and running water, near Surprise it got to be thicker ice and more snow, this is where we put on spikes. At the top snow pack is still significant compared to southern peaks but the monorail is very stable except for the abundant postholes from the warm spell that will take significant snow to fill in. |
