Suprised to see snow top to bottom except in poor drainage areas.. went up South first which was the better choice.. smooth, yet hard crust over most of the trail with occasional ice patches.. I had switched to K-10’s before beginning my ascent.. easy going up here… the walk to North was the usual postholed trail that continued thru the descent of North (making the descent easier with footing) until meeting back up to the junction of Cedar Brook.. snowshoes are useless on these trails until we get a big dump of snow or warming temps that soften up the mess |
