Saw some happy pups out there, Jackson stayed home today as I didn’t want him out if it started raining. |

| Bugs: |
None |

| Lost and Found: |
Eliot lost his vest/cell phone but thankfully a large group behind us was nice enough to bring it down. Disaster averted, hiking people are the best. |

It’s basically April. We were expecting brutal trail conditions and potential rain so Tom, Eliot, Tutu and I chose a short one today. Denise needed it for her grid, and for Tom it was #6 for his SSW48 over 70 bud. It looked like we’d have a weather window but there were raindrops in the parking lot…boo. They thankfully stopped and although the trails are ridiculous for January the conditions actually weren’t bad. I barebooted 80% of the way up before putting my spikes on. The trail is nicely packed where there is coverage and not too icy. Spikes will suffice. I carried my snowshoes. Please come back winter, we miss you. |
