Started around 0900. A LOT of hikers on the trail. It was pretty easy going with a few post holes on the edge of the trail. Brought snowshoes along for the ride but never used them. Micro spikes all the way. It was like spring hiking. Light wind at the top but in the clouds so no view unfortunately. Was going to try and make it over to Ike but it was getting late and I reached my predesignated turn around time that I try not to break under any circumstances. The few blowdowns that are already mentioned in other posts were managable. |
