| Comments: |
Trail was solid and grippy enough for spikes all day until about the last 1/2 mile. Carried snowshoes but never wore them. Aside from the benefit of televators on the steeps, wearing snowshoes would have been detrimental [soft snow necessitates snowshoes]. The last short section just before the road the snow was now soft but with so many large mud holes and exposed rocks/roots wearing them at that point would have been moot. |
