Comments
Comments: Fantastic 1st hike of the new year! Felt more like early spring than winter. Trail at the bottom was bare, going up was muddy, streams of water, a little bit of patchy ice and some mashed potato snow. No real snow till after the last water crossing when the steep ascent begins. Bare booted till then, then donned microspikes. Highly recommend bringing spikes, you’ll need them for the summits. Snowpack at the top was solid. Water crossings were passable w caution but be careful-lots of fast moving water. Fantastic views from both summits. Loved this hiked!!! A beautiful A+++ day. Health app logged 8.25mi, 2479ft gain, 4hr15m
