Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: High water on first crossing which is logged over. Okay if you have good balance, use poles and rope someone handy put next to the log to help. Next crossing had higher level of water as the temps warmed but was still rock hoppable. Used the right side rock path going up and left side going down closer to the log bridge because of increase in flow. 3rd crossing, easily rock hoppable.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Couple blowdowns crossing trail, easy to navigate over or around.
Dog-Related Notes

Comments
Comments: Temperature swings New Year's Day melted a lot of stretches of snow on the first mile/ mile and a half or so of Davis Path. Closer to summit, the trail starts to pack down, so we stayed in microspikes. As the temps warmed above freezing, we switched to snowshoes and attempted to head over to Mount Resolution. The snow was very wet and heavy so we broke out about two-thirds of the trail to the intersection of Davis Path and Mount Parker Trail. It became too slow going to be able to tag Resolution and make it back before expected bad weather rolled in so we turned around. For anyone looking to tag Resolution, you should have about a mile more of trail breaking from where we stopped.
