First one has a bridge. The upper one is easy but glad I wore waterproof boots. |

Counted 5 or 6 blowdowns, 2 of which are a hefty 15-18” in diameter. I unclogged a few jammed water bars. |

I wore spikes for maybe 100 yards on one section. There were a few other small areas of ice that were easily avoided. Absolutely no snow left. :( The brook and falls were pretty loud and rollicking. I was excited to find the “Stray Ladies” plaque which required crawling under a blowdown and being careful not to fall into the river. Certainly doesn’t feel like winter. |
