Parking/Access Road Notes: Piper Parking lot is only partially plowed out. But the bathroooms are open.

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The one by Weetamo is dangerous. Water was high. Advise going up stream about 25 yards where the stream is easier to ford.

Comments: Hammond is a mess, postholes and no monorail. And add to that 12-18 inches of slush. Be lots of spikes and snowshoes on and off. And Piper was a sheet of ice on the upper third.
