There was a small brook that you need to cross but can easily step across. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Warm conditions with melting snow. The trail was a mix of snow/dirt/leaves for the first mile or so and some of the water was on the trail. |

Our Australian Cattle Dog (45lbs) loved it! She did fall through some snow a few times. |

There was much more snow than I anticipated on this hike even with a major rain storm and warm temps prior. Yesterday was again unusually warm with temps around 40 degrees so the snow was mashed potatoes. There was a lot of slippy and sliding even with microspikes and poles. I would recommend gaiters. |
