Comments: Ski trail, East Osceola trail, mount Osceola trail, Tripoli road

Warm December day for hitting the sufferfest called East Osceola trail. It was as steep as I remembered but our Tubbs flex VRT snowshoes were up to the job. Love the traction on those things! Never mind the televators! We decided to traverse the peaks to a waiting trail angel at Livermore trailhead. We descended on beautiful untouched trail off Osceola until about the third switchback, then at that point we ran into very deep postholes from a couple of brave or crazy barebooters. We made our way down to the nicely groomed XC ski trail ( Tripoli road) walked out easily to our waiting trail angel. Solid day , 10 miles in the magic shoes.
