Comments
Comments: The trail up to the Lake of the Clouds shelter is hard packed though some post holes. I wore snowshoes the whole hike with no issues. The hike from shelter to summit is on crusty snow. Soft enough for mountaineering snowshoes to grip. I’d never been done the Cog and it was easy walking along the side of the Cog all the way down.
