parking lot was absolutely packed from the ski traffic, I totally forgot it's vacation week...
people were parked in fire lanes |

100% rock-hoppable, note that the rocks are covered in ice |

a very small blow down somewhere around ~half a mile from the summit |

a knee brace, a white bandana, and a burton (?) glove. I left all items where I found them because they had not been there on my way up, hoping that the owners would see them on their descent |

snow was sticky, but firm. the trail is almost completely covered in packed snow and microspikes were more than enough. my partner bare-booted the ascent and snowboarded down from the ski area. according to him, the 0.5 trail to the ski area was "not well packed with a significant number of postholes" [should have used snowshoes!] |
