No issues with any of the crossings, partial ice bridges helped out. |

There a few miserable blowdowns, crawl unders and a few others that will get worse as the snowpack increases. |

Saw 3 today, they seemed to be happy. |

Post holes bugged the ish outta me. |

We found a single Hillsound spike. |

Ugh. These trails are absolutely destroyed. I’m not the posthole police, I don’t shame people and I don’t scream at people who bareboot, but sweet baby j the footing is miserable. I didn’t think my ankles could flex that many ways. To anyone who cares about snowshoeing and enjoying their day: stay away until there’s another snowstorm, it’s not worth it. |
