 | Comments: |
Down low (below the split) the snow is softening up, like mashed potatoes. Higher up there is a somewhat consolidated center which is beginning to deteriorate. The snow drifted in a few places between Jackson and Webster, and the snow to the sides of the trail has a top crust which lighter hikers can walk on without post holing too badly. |
