| Comments: |
Conditions: Zealand Rd. was open and clear and dry with a few potholes. Hale brook was clear and dry to the upper stream crossing. Both stream crossings were easy. The switchbacks were just mostly wet. After the switchbacks, there were minor pockets of snow and ice. No blow-downs. I bare-booted to the summit and on the way back down, put my Hillsounds on only for about a tenth of a mile, just to be safe. Within a few days, all the remaining snow and ice should be melted. Really nice day today, almost too warm for Nov. |
