First crossing a bit sketchy since the ice on the rocks was breaking up under our weight. We were able to cross further up. |

Our dogs slipped a lot and we had to make them walk on the sides to prevent injuries. |

We wanted to hike the loop but turned around at the lookout due to extremely icy conditions. I even fell with my crampons on near the lookout...
We didnt want to risk it with our dogs (two 80lbs dogs). BUT it is doable with proper gear for humans with no dog.
