Comments
Comments: Trail is a bit beat up compared to last week. Trail was solid but had a thin layer of snow with the consistency of mashed potatoes on top, which made it a little slippery in parts. Some parts of the trail are split down the middle from running water during last weeks storm, but no running water now. The part of the carriage road that is always solid ice is in fact exposed ice at the moment, so spikes are definitely recommended. Trail near the summit had some fresh unpacked snow that was mashed around and a bit slippery
