Comments
Comments: Mostly a combo of packed granular and 2 dust over crust layers that was pretty concrete like, but still too soft for spikes, trail was a little chewed up down low from a couple that switched to spikes for the last 1.5 miles out. 1 annoying dumb postholio person messing up the trail the last few days, however the 6 people on Pine Bend today in snowshoes mostly smoothed out the trail. Perfect conditions to get good bite with the snowshoe crampons and the televators help alleviate the burden of the climb. North Tri summit to Middle Tri summit and the gully were both rather crusty but grippy heading up and down in each location. Snowpack survived last weekends storm in great shape with 1' down low and 2' up on the summits. Snowshoes are the right choice for traction devices until at least after the incoming precipitation event this weekend
