Parking/Access Road Notes: There were about six cars parked before the bike path.  
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Ice - Black, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All stream crossings were easy however there was one crossing with ice covered rocks.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Step over after crossing the first bridge. I took my saw and cut a small tree with a lot of branches blocking half the trail after the last tunnel.

Dog-Related Notes: We saw lots of happy dogs today.

Comments: This trail was very very icy, we wore Hillsounds Microspikes and did fine. Half the people did not have Microspikes...the smart ones turned around early. We checked out the Flume Gorge after and needed Microspikes after the upper visitor center house.
