Comments
Comments: Snowshoes went for a ride today. Barebooted the road and then donned Hillsounds for the out-and-back on Gorge Brook. A gorgeous day with sun and blue skies until right before tree line. Once on the summit, we decided to go back the way we came rather than loop over to Snapper and hit South Peak since it was socked in and the windchill was -10°. Snapper (where it intersects Gorge Brook) looks like only a few non-snowshoers have been on it. Saw seven other hikers total and no dogs, though this is a good hike for dogs.
