Parked at summer lot. road is rough but our low clearance common sedan had no issue. No vehicles on arrival 10 on return. |

a large blowdown just into the evergreen transition area of the forest. shortly before the summit of Starr King a few blowdowns. a few minor stepovers between the two peaks and to the viewpoint. removed several smaller blowdowns throughout. |

Beautiful day for these two summits.Low snowpack,using micros no issue today to Starr King. I dropped the pack and donned the snowshoes for a quick hike over to Waumbek. Micros wouldve worked for this a well. It was nice crossing paths with and chatting several on the trail today. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
