Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The only crossing of note was on South Trail just south of Marsh Road. The outlet brook for the nearby pond was swollen and the stepping stones were underwater. I crossed slightly upstream.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: I expected a lot of blowdowns after yesterday's winds, but there were barely any. Lots of debris though. I removed the largest bits as I went along.

Comments
Comments: A nice six-mile walk through the forest today. Not too much to report on this one. There was a pretty consistent dusting of snow everywhere from last night. Some icy areas but all are easily avoidable. The soggiest stretch was on South Trail near Marsh Road with running and standing water on the trail. It wasn't nearly as wet here as I thought it would be. A quiet day; I only saw one other small group.
