Comments
Comments: Spikes were fine heading up the ledges. Big thanks to Liz, Dee and there crew for breaking out Rollins trail with there snowshoes yesterday. The trail was still a bit soft so I put on snowshoes to help pack it down further and try to build a good base for the rest of the season, but 6 of the 7 people I passed were bare booting a postholing the trail left and right (2 of them had snowshoes strapped to there back, why carry them if your not going to use them???lThen 2 people were using butt head sleds on the steeps going up Passaconaway, that should freeze up into a real slick lodge track...thanks guys for leaving a trail behind you that will now be a hazard to anyone who uses the trail in the future.
