| Comments: |
Great day, hikes up Ravine Road from Winter parking area to trailheads, remained in bare boots to summit and still up to South peak. Put on snowshoes at South Peak summit to head down Carriage Road and Snapper Trail as they were much less broken out than Gorge Brook Trail. Perfect winter hike day, high clouds and calm wind except for summit gusts that were still easier than usual. Sadly the coming rain and single digit temps will change conditions dramatically in the coming days, be sure to have traction with you! |
