I would take a strong objection to the previous trip report by the two trail runners. They completely ruined the major effort put in by prior parties to get this loop packed out. In particular the trail between the two peaks was destroyed by this selfish behavior. Just because a trail report says a trail is packed out doesn’t mean it’s runable. The loop has not seen enough traffic to turn it into a hard bare boot surface. If the peaks don’t get enough new snow during this coming storm, the rain and eventual refresh will turn sections of this loop into a hellish experience. Thanks so much fellas! |
