Comments
Comments: Bottom half of trail very dry with great footing. Top half a little wet, ledges above Mt. Surprise were full of black ice. However, there was too much bare rock to warrent microspikes until about 3200'. Warm sun, clear skies, very little wind on summit. 8" of snow at top. Trail filling in nicely with snow in places near the summit--- made for quick travel.
