 | Comments: |
My dog and I broke out Sandwich Mountain Trail to the ledges between Noon and Jennings. It’s rough going. The snow is deep and very light. There are a lot of drifts and snowshoes go right through and hit the rocks underneath. I was wearing beater snowshoes and they are fully, officially broken now. Some almost bare rock due to wind and thigh high snow the next step. If you attempt this before the rainfall on Friday, I suggest old snowshoes (if you have them). |
