Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost my grey hydroflask somewhere below treeline and above the ladder section. Willing to pay to get it shipped back to me, $5 reward if you want it. It'll be cheaper than buying a new one...

Comments
Comments: First, a philosophical question: If a barebooter breaks out a trail, is it really broken? I now feel qualified to provide an answer: No.

About 12-14" down low, which was less than I was expecting. Tuckerman Ravine Trail is obviously broken out, but has not hardened up yet. Boott spur trail might've been travelled right after the storm, but had been filled in and so there was only the bareboot track. Essentially broke trail to 4000', slow going and still somewhat bony. Ice on rocks in places with a thick layer of loose snow made traction very challenging at times. Snowshoes were easily the best option for ascending, but expect them to get beat up on the rocks. There's an overlook at 4000' that was socked in and I was pushing my turn around time, so I went down. Tried to descend in snowshoes, but it was too steep and loose to be safe. I decided it was actually safer to use microspikes for the descent until back at the TRT, then back to snowshoes. Sorry, but I figured that things were still so soft and bony and there's a big thaw coming.
