Comments
Comments: As mentioned in the parking section, Glen Ellis parking area had not been plowed and I parked at Pinkham. I took Lost Pond Trail, which was well packed. Wildcat Ridge was packed up to the start of the first major ascent. I broke trail up to ~2850 ft according to my watch. The snow was mainly loose powder, 18“-36“ deep depending on snow drifts. Some areas had a couple inches of harder crust on top of the powder. I did not encounter any ice and did not need my crampons. Although, I would still advise people to bring them on this trail as a precaution.
