Comments
Comments: Carter Moriah Trail loosely packed to Mt. Surprise. Started breaking up to Moriah, but turned back about a mile from summit. Drifts were thigh-deep in places, kept sliding back on the steeps. Ran out of daylight and energy. Bare booters made the trip back from Surprise a chore. Snowshoes? Please?
