I was the only one on Potash today… road walked the Kanc for 0.5 miles then took logging road… no one had been on it so I broke it out to the Mt Potash trail. That also was untouched so I broke it out to the summit… 2.5-3 ft of snow nearing the summit. I smoothed it out on way out so it’s officially broken out. If your thinking of hiking that trail, snowshoe’s is the way to go. I wouldn’t even attempt it without them. Awesome but tiresome day…. Well worth it. |
