Comments
Comments: The reports of 20ish inches in Gorham and 24" at Wildcat Resort did not disappoint. Wet snow compacting snow down low transitioned into powder after a couple of miles and the higher elevations had at least 2.5 feet of fresh fluffy goodness. At times it was like swimming uphill in snow and we were grateful to share the trail breaking duties with Larry and Pete. We made it about a 1/2 mile past the junction and were gassed so we called it a day there. 4 folks who came up behind us continued on so there's a good chance the whole thing is broken out now. Snowshoes worn by all = trail is in fantastic shape!
