Comments
Comments: 12-18” of fresh unconsolidated powder made for a tough day. Trail is broken out thanks to those who did this! But 1 step forward 3 back made for at times a frustrating day. Slipping sliding & many falls but the forest was absolutely beautiful, trees covered in snow. Climb up East is always tough, some rocks still exposed but no ice. Last bit to the Ridge was sketchy at best. Met 6 others on East all in agreement too late too tough to continue on. 5 did make it but less packed out. Not as cold or windy as forecast. Thanks to Kerri & Jason for a great time in the Woods. Butt sliding was fun but watch out for the hidden rocks! Please snowshoes are a must!
